1. Information Collection

We collect personal information including name, email address, phone number, and investment preferences when you register for our services or subscribe to our research reports. When an eligible paid client voluntarily uses the private Equity Trading Journal, we also collect the information the client enters, including stock symbols, trade and exit dates, entry and exit prices, quantities, target and stop-loss values, setup or reason, plan-following and emotion selections, and notes. Clients must not enter passwords, OTPs, broker credentials, or another person's personal information in the journal.

2. Use of Information

Your personal information is used to provide research services and communicate about those services. Private Trading Journal data is used only to provide the client's journal, cross-device access, calculations, partial-exit history, CSV export, support, security, backup, and applicable legal or regulatory functions. It is not used to advertise an individual client's trades or performance.

3. Data Protection

We use access controls and reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction. Journal requests are authenticated and restricted to the signed-in user's records. No internet system is completely risk-free; suspected unauthorised access should be reported promptly using the contact details below.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. Other clients cannot view a client's journal, and the journal does not provide a routine administrator screen for opening client entries. Strictly authorised Javeed Research personnel and hosting, database, backup, security, or support service providers may have technical access only where necessary to operate, secure, recover, or support the service, or to comply with law. SEBI, RAASB, auditors, courts, or other authorised authorities may receive access where lawfully required. Service providers are expected to protect confidentiality and use the information only for the authorised purpose.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the stated purpose and applicable legal obligations. Active journal data remains until the client removes it or requests account-level deletion. Removed journal records are excluded from the client-facing journal and normally retained for five years for audit and regulatory purposes before secure purge; they may be preserved longer when a dispute, legal hold or regulatory direction applies. Backup copies may remain until normal secure rotation. Expiry or suspension of paid journal access does not by itself delete stored journal data. Client-service interactions, consent evidence, research records, and other regulatory records may be retained for at least five years, and longer where a dispute or direction from SEBI or another competent authority requires preservation.

8. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information and may opt out of non-essential communications. The journal allows clients to edit and export their entries and to remove individual entries or all data from the active journal. Clients may withdraw journal consent through the journal deletion control or by contacting us. Information that must be preserved under securities or other applicable law cannot be erased until the required retention period ends.
